Juice from the finest ingredients
Lofthus sideri produces juice from various apple varieties. Just like our cider, we produce juice from pure apple varieties. All apples are harvested by hand from the trees, pressed, and pasteurized immediately after harvesting. We can offer juice from Vistabella, Discovery, Summerred, Gravenstein, Asfari, Aroma, and Elstar. Apple varieties that ripen early in the season are often more acidic than those that come later. The later apple varieties ripen in the season, the more "grape-sugar" they contain, so juice made from late apple varieties is often sweeter than the early ones.
Selection
Gravenstein
Rich and with a well-balanced sweetness. It has a light acidity with a characteristic aroma that provides a good aftertaste.
Elstar
Sweet and clear, it can almost be characterized as "dessert" juice.
Asfari
The apple is crisp and juicy with a fantastic unique aroma. As juice, Asfari becomes sweet and tropical, with hints of banana flavor and medium to low acidity.
Summerred
Delightful apple juice, with a good balance between acidity and sweetness. A beautiful apple that yields fantastic juice.
